As an entry-level Occupational Therapist, you'll focus on enabling individuals, groups, and communities through tailored services. Your role will involve comprehensive evaluations, setting rehabilitation goals, and fostering collaboration within the healthcare team. Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct OT services including diagnosis and treatment
• Collaborate on goal development with clients and stakeholders
• Provide education and resources for patient self-management
• Engage in interprofessional collaboration for quality improvement
• Offer supervision and mentorship to recent staff and students
Requirements:
• Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution
• Registered with the Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
• Completed Basic Life Support course from Heart and Stroke
• Driver’s license and personal vehicle needed for SESD duties
• Willingness to work variable shifts as required
