Maximize community input as a Community Engagement Worker for M’Chigeeng First Nation, focusing on developing a Child Well-Being Law. This full-time role emphasizes cultural sensitivity and community collaboration.

As the Community Engagement Worker, you will implement a comprehensive engagement strategy that prioritizes the voices of Elders, youth, and families. Your responsibilities include planning and facilitating engaging community sessions that will inform policy development and service delivery. The insights you gather will shape the direction of M’Chigeeng's long-term self-governance mission.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design engagement activities in alignment with community needs
• Document insights and emerging themes from community input
• Work collaboratively with the Coordinator on project planning




• Prepare updates and reports for leadership and stakeholders
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to best practices

Requirements:
• Diploma or degree in Social Work, Indigenous Studies, or similar
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in community consultation
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and data management
• Knowledge of Anishinaabemowin is an asset
• Willingness to work flexible schedule as needed
