This role requires candidates who identify as Indigenous or First Nation, particularly those connected to Nova Scotia's Mi'kmaw people. You will lead the implementation of critical equity strategies, provide training, and support government departments in fostering a culturally responsive workplace. Successful applicants must demonstrate a commitment to building relationships across diverse communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support implementation of All Together Action Plan
• Build capacity for EDIA initiatives within government
• Foster partnerships with community-based organizations
• Remove barriers for underrepresented groups
• Analyze relevant data to inform EDIA strategies
Requirements:
• Proven project management skills
• Robust facilitation and presentation abilities
• High cultural competence and analytical skills
• Relevant post-secondary education and experience
• Proficient in MS Office 365 applications
