Reporting directly to the Weekend Day Shift Surface Finishing Supervisor, you will engage in essential deburring, polishing, and cleaning. Your role is vital in supporting quality initiatives and continuous improvements within the aerospace industry, where precision is key. The shifts are scheduled from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Fridays through Sundays.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute deburring and polishing of aviation components
• Conduct operator self-verification for quality assurance
• Move large parts using overhead cranes
• Participate in LEAN initiatives for improvement
• Perform other assigned duties effectively
Requirements:
• High school diploma needed, with 1-3 years experience
• Must read micrometers and verniers proficiently
• Eligible for work in Canada under ITAR and CCGP
• Ability to adhere to dimensional specifications
• Understanding of production orders and process sheets
