The Resident Care Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the quality of life for residents in our care homes, directly under the Director of Care's supervision. With at least two years of management experience in a healthcare setting, you will foster an interdisciplinary approach while managing nursing staff and care assessments. Your leadership skills will be essential in creating a secure, ethical, and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and review care plans for residents
• Supervise nursing staff and manage staffing schedules
• Promote continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Address care issues with residents and their families
• Act as a role model demonstrating clinical expertise
Requirements:
• 2 years’ experience in long-term care or rehabilitation
• An active nursing license or eligibility for registration
• Strong understanding of Manitoba health legislation and MDS systems
• Proven leadership in a multi-unionized environment
• Strong commitment to ethical care and quality improvement
