Apply for IT Systems Specialist at Printing/Packaging Co. in Langley, BC, CA. This Full time on site position offers great opportunities for career growth. Fastik makes labels and flexible packaging for food, lumber, and industrial customers, with plants in Langley BC, Arizona, and North Carolina. You would report to our IT Manager and be the second technical person on a small team — handling support end to end and owning real pieces of the environment, not just a queue. We are implementing a new ERP system this year. Our IT Manager leads that project. You will learn the system, support the people using it, and help where you are needed — which during a go-live is a genuinely interesting place to be.
What you will do Day-to-day support for our people in Langley and at our US plants: Windows, Microsoft 365, hardware, printers, and plant-floor systems.
Active Directory — user and group administration, permissions, and the Group Policy that keeps our workstations consistent.
Microsoft 365 administration: Exchange Online and mail flow troubleshooting, Teams, SharePoint, licensing, and security groups.
Support our Windows Server environment alongside the IT Manager — file and print services, and day-to-day server housekeeping.
Thermal and industrial label printing, plant-floor terminals, and barcode scanners.
Front-line support for our ERP users: questions, printing, and the everyday problems that follow any new system.
Workstation lifecycle from procurement through imaging, deployment, and retirement, with asset records that stay accurate.
Documentation and a knowledge base that actually gets used.
An on-call rotation shared with the IT Manager for after-hours maintenance and production-critical issues.
What we need Three or more years in IT support or systems administration, including time as the person escalations landed on.

Hands‑on Active Directory: you have built and troubleshot Group Policy, not only reset passwords.
Real Microsoft 365 admin centre experience — you can trace why a message did not deliver.
Comfortable working on Windows Server: shares, permissions, print services, and knowing when to stop and elevate.
Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and the judgement to tell whether a problem is the network or the application.
PowerShell for routine automation, or the appetite to get there quickly.
Steady when volume spikes.
A new system going live means a lot of people needing help at once, and we need someone who works the queue calmly instead of disappearing into the hardest ticket.
Communication that holds up under pressure.
This is a core requirement, not a soft extra.
You will write documentation and incident notes read across three sites, and explain technical problems to people who do not work in technology.
We assess this directly: every shortlisted candidate completes the same short written exercise and the same live scenario, scored against a fixed rubric.
The bar is high and we apply it to everyone.
Legally able to work in Canada and to work on‑site in Langley.
Helpful, not required Any ERP or MES exposure.
We run Radius from ePS and we do not expect you to have used it — you will be trained.
Having supported users through a system change of any kind counts for more.
Manufacturing, plant, or multi‑site environment experience.

Experience in a food‑safety controlled workplace (GMP, BRC, SQF, HACCP) — useful, since it shapes how equipment gets used on our floor.
Thermal or industrial label printing, barcode systems, or shop‑floor data collection.
Microsoft certifications (MD‑102, MS‑102, AZ‑104) or CompTIA Network+ / Security+.
Intune or endpoint management experience.
Being straight with you about this role This is a hands‑on job in a manufacturing business, not a corporate tower. Some of it happens on a production floor — a clean, food‑safe environment with the hygiene practices that go with it, and a loud, fast‑moving one. When a line stops, IT is part of getting it moving again. The ERP rollout will make your first year busier than a normal one. You are not running that project, but you will be close to it, you will learn the system, and you will be the person our staff turn to while they get used to it.
What you get Extended health, dental, and vision.
Life and disability insurance.
RRSP match.
Paid time off.
Employee assistance program.
On‑site parking.
Training on our ERP platform, and a small team where you own real systems rather than a slice of someone else’s.
Pay: $72,000.00-$78,000.00 per year
Benefits Company events
Dental care
Disability insurance
Employee assistance program
Extended health care
Life insurance
On‑site parking
Paid time off

Experience: IT support or systems administration: 2 years (required)
