Drive administrative excellence at 'Na̱mg̱is First Nation in Alert Bay, BC. This pivotal Assistant Administrator position promotes transparency and cultural integrity within organizational operations.

The 'Na̱mg̱is First Nation is seeking an Assistant Administrator to support the Senior Administrator in guiding departmental success. This role is critical for ensuring effective communication and compliance with governance regulations while managing diverse portfolios. You'll engage respectfully with community members and enhance the operational framework for a thriving Indigenous government.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and monitor the annual work plan
• Work with Directors on strategic departmental goals




• Ensure adherence to governance policies
• Prepare and manage operating budgets
• Provide leadership to administrative support teams

Requirements:
• Relevant degree in Public Administration or similar
• Minimum three years senior management experience
• Proficient in funding requirements for First Nations
• Demonstrated success in project and budget management
• Robust verbal and written communication skills
