Become a vital part of J.D. Irving as a Production Engineer, driving the efficiency and quality of shipbuilding projects. This role requires a strong collaborative spirit and innovative engineering skills.

As a full time Production Engineer, you will work on designing production tools and crafting Manufacturing Instructions. The position involves bridging gaps between engineering and production teams to ensure the successful implementation of complex projects. Your role will be central to planning engineering test activities and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and develop Manufacturing Instructions for processes
• Design and refine production tools like jigs and templates
• Ensure accuracy in production drawings and vendor documentation




• Coordinate engineering tests for new products and processes
• Mentor junior engineers and review their deliverables

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; P.Eng. eligibility
• Over 3 years in shipbuilding or manufacturing
• Expertise in ship systems and production functions
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and document interpretation
• Capability to solve complex engineering problems
