ATCO Electric is seeking a Senior Forester in Peace River, AB. This role combines project management, vegetation oversight, and a commitment to safety and community engagement.

As a Senior Forester, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and inspecting vegetation management projects at ATCO Electric. With a robust background in forestry or a related field and a minimum of five years' experience, you’ll lead contractor management and site inspections to ensure project compliance. Your experience with Indigenous communities will help foster collaboration and mutual respect in project planning.

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure adherence to safety practices and standards
• Collaborate on project planning and decision making




• Monitor and schedule construction activities
• Manage contractor timecards and invoicing
• Provide project updates and forecasts

Requirements:
• Post-secondary degree in forestry or related field
• Registered Professional Forester or similar
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong technical writing and communication skills
• Valid class 5 Driver’s License
