As an Indigenous Community Legal Worker, you will leverage at least five years of specialized experience to address community needs through consultations, workshops, and legal advice. Building solid relationships with Indigenous communities is key, as you will work to enhance awareness of available legal resources and services.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide civil law advocacy and support for Indigenous clients
• Develop and conduct legal education sessions for the community
• Liaise with various social services for comprehensive client support




• Maintain client files and document legal proceedings
• Assist in drafting and preparing legal materials

Requirements:
• High School diploma with post-secondary training in Law or similar
• Five years of relevant legal experience required
• Excellent interpersonal and English communication skills
• Familiarity with legal issues facing low-income Indigenous peoples
• Must possess a valid BC driver's license and willingness to travel
