Join Coeur Mining as a Health and Safety Specialist, focusing on Occupational Health at the New Afton mine in British Columbia. Drive initiatives to ensure compliance and safety across mining operations.

In this role, you will report directly to the Health and Safety Manager, managing comprehensive health and hygiene programs while addressing workplace hazards. Your critical eye for detail and experience in safety regulation will enhance protective measures for all employees. Collaborate with team members to cultivate a safe work setting in a company committed to responsible mining practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze monitoring data based on Exposure Assessment Strategy
• Develop and recommend corrective action to management




• Participate in sharing safety best practices organization-wide
• Lead Industrial Hygiene monitoring initiatives
• Manage the Occupational Health budget effectively

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health or related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Health & Safety experience
• Active pursuit of Industrial Hygiene certification
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety regulations
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
