We are seeking an Expert Creature Technical Director to excel in hybrid work conditions, focusing on advanced simulations and rigging using Houdini and Maya. Join our creative team!

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up various simulations and resolving technical issues related to creature effects. As a key player, you will assist in mentoring less experienced artists and lead various projects by scripting utilities. Your familiarity with corrective sculpting and anatomical understanding will greatly influence the quality of our outputs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Set up cloth, hair, and crowd simulations in Houdini
• Troubleshoot and handle CFX and simulation setups
• Mentor and give guidance to entry-level artists




• Create effective scripts for optimization in Maya
• Undertake creature rigging and enveloping tasks

Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in a relevant field or 5 years without a diploma
• Proficiency with Houdini and basics of Linux
• Solid understanding of anatomy and wraps
• Experience with corrective sculpting techniques
• Knowledge of Python or VEX scripting is essential
