Be part of Western University's Robarts Research Institute as a Graduate Research Associate focusing on MRI and functional MRI research. This role combines independent research with expert collaboration.
You will independently lead research initiatives, develop protocols, and enhance the quality of neuroimaging data. Your responsibilities will also include training personnel and ensuring compliance with research ethics. Engaging with external partners, you will drive cutting-edge approaches to research and maintain high standards in project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct original research in neuroimaging methodologies
• Oversee and optimize MRI and fMRI research protocols
• Mentor students and guide research staff through projects
• Analyze participant data and assess research outcomes
• Contribute to publication processes and conference presentations
Requirements:
• PhD in a relevant field such as Neuroscience or Medical Physics
• Postdoctoral experience in neuroimaging is preferred
• Strong foundation in complex data analysis and software
• Experience with participant-centered research methodologies
• Advanced skills in communication and collaboration across teams
