Become an integral part of the Calgary team as an HVAC/R Mechanic with Black & McDonald. This role focuses on the efficient operation and repair of HVAC equipment while ensuring customer satisfaction.
This Journeyman position in Calgary requires an individual skilled in various aspects of HVAC maintenance, installation, and repair. Black & McDonald is seeking a dedicated professional to work collaboratively, perform troubleshooting, and address client needs effectively in a rapid-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform planned maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems
• Handle refrigerants and test for system leaks
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Start up and shut down building equipment seasonally
• Complete all necessary work documentation and reports
Requirements:
• Journeyman HVAC certification essential
• Experience with DDC control systems is an asset
• Clean class 5 Driver’s license required
• Ability to work at various heights
• Committed to joining Local Union 488
