As a Benchfitter at Startec, you will work in the Shepard Shop, collaborating with the Spooling Supervisor. With a minimum of two years of experience in fabrication techniques, you’ll interpret diagrams and specifications for compression equipment. Your role is critical in creating efficient and compliant piping systems that meet project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
• Produce spools and spool sections from Isometric Drawings
• Perform alignment and tack welding on spools
• Operate overhead and jib cranes for rigging
• Maintain shop equipment and ensure a clean workspace

Requirements:
• Journeyman Pipefitter certification preferred
• At least 2 years of bench fitter experience
• Familiarity with various pipe materials and grades
