With a minimum of 5 years as a Certified Tool and Die Maker, your responsibilities will include guiding critical tooling processes and collaborating with various departments. You will also play a crucial role in customer negotiations and the management of tooling budgets to ensure quality and efficiency in production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage tooling modifications and oversee improvement projects
• Analyze costs through tooling phases effectively
• Update Lessons Learned database consistently
• Provide directions to tooling specialists and toolmakers
• Support departmental process changes as needed
Requirements:
• Certified Tool and Die Maker with 5+ years experience
• Fully knowledgeable in VISI or similar CAD
• In-depth understanding of GD&T; principles
• Robust multitasking and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience in high-volume mechanical devices preferred
