This role within WSP’s Rail & Transit team is essential for ensuring the safety and efficiency of rail operations. Reporting to the Manager of Rail Systems Engineering, you will utilize your skills to execute engineering processes, mentor junior members, and deliver projects on schedule. You'll collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to meet stringent industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and develop advanced signaling systems for transit and heavy rail
• Create design documentation and technical specifications
• Ensure compliance of design elements with industry codes
• Facilitate client discussions on technical topics
• Lead project planning and execution while controlling budgets
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 5+ years experience in railway signaling engineering
• Proficient in CAD software like AutoCAD
• Solid knowledge of signaling principles and standards
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
