Provide specialized instruction and support as an Autism Teacher in the Discovery Program. Focus on developing both academic and life skills for students with unique needs.

The Autism Teacher will work closely with the School Principal to enhance learning experiences tailored to students' needs, utilizing proven teaching methods and assessment tools. Your role will involve crafting IEPs, collaborating with families and other educators, and fostering a supportive environment for student growth. Continued professional development and effective communication will also be key components of this position.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and recommend educational actions
• Develop and facilitate Individual Educational Plans for students




• Foster collaboration between parents and educational staff
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation
• Provide in-service training for current teachers

Requirements:
• Certification as a Special Education Teacher
• Bachelor's degree in relevant educational discipline
• Prior experience in special education preferred
• Understanding of special education legislation
• Effective communication abilities with all stakeholders
