Become a key player in promoting quantum innovation with the Quantum Advantage Toronto as a part-time Communications & Event Officer. This role emphasizes designing communication strategies and organizing impactful outreach events.

In this position, you will report directly to the Associate Director and focus on increasing the initiative’s visibility and reputation. Your responsibilities will include developing marketing materials and engaging with stakeholders to support strategic objectives. This is an exciting prospect to enhance your communications career in a leading academic environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and implement detailed communication and marketing plans
• Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and partners
• Produce promotional materials and coordinate logistics for events




• Manage social media content and presence effectively
• Conduct evaluations of events and outreach initiatives

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
• Four years of recent experience in related communications roles
• Proven experience with social media and website management
• Solid project management skills and proficiency in HTML
• Exceptional communication and writing abilities
