This permanent role at Vancouver Community Mental Health and Substance Use Services focuses on adults with major mental illnesses. Your work will include trauma-informed practices and culturally protected care, particularly for Indigenous patients. You'll utilize your psychopharmacology knowledge while collaborating with a supportive healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychiatric evaluations and longer-term care
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary care teams
• Engage in virtual consultations and community outreach




• Facilitate continuity of care from hospitals to community
• Involve family members in the treatment process

Requirements:
• Eligible for membership in the Canadian Medical Protective Association
• Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada is favored
• Experience with chronic mental health and substance use
• Clinical faculty role with UBC Faculty of Medicine is encouraged
• Strong foundation in behavioral and rehabilitative techniques
