POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Dufferin, a warm and welcoming private seniors residence, has an opening for a Housekeeping Attendant! Working in a residence is more than just a job; its a life experience. Its the opportunity to be recognized and valued, to participate in the continuous improvement of the service, and to make a significant difference in the daily lives of seniors!

Full-time position, day and evening shifts, one weekend out of two.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assemble plates of food

Clean kitchen equipment

Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure good teamwork

Create tasty menus while respecting the expected level of quality and the allocated budget

Ensure and optimize quality standards in the use of food





Perform meal preparation while supervising and mobilizing staff in the kitchen

Plan and cook meals in accordance with the appropriate methods and standards

Use products and equipment according to the safety, quality, hygiene and cleanliness rules and standards in effect

When appropriate, collaborate with the chef in the creation of the menus by proposing ideas

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Good team player

Training certification (MAPAQ)

A proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in institutional cuisine or equivelent

At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in a large restoration

Basic computer skills

Good communication
