Interior Health seeks a dedicated Medical Laboratory Technologist at Nicola Valley Hospital in Merritt, B.C. Your role will support patient diagnosis through precision in laboratory testing.

As a permanent full-time team member, you’ll perform a variety of tests, manage patient interactions, and input vital data into the Laboratory Information System. This role requires expertise in Clinical Chemistry, Hematology, and Transfusion Medicine while adhering to safety standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Execute routine and complex tests using established procedures
• Greet patients and manage specimen collection
• Input and manage data within the LIS efficiently
• Validate, report test outcomes, and maintain protocols
• Participate in training on laboratory best practices

Requirements:
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist
• Relevant experience in laboratory settings
• Familiarity with LIS and quality assurance practices
• Excellent communication skills for patient interaction
• Adaptable availability for rotating shifts
