Shape the future of mining geology at ITASCA North America as a Senior Geomechanics Engineer. Use your extensive geotechnical knowledge and numerical modeling expertise to support diverse projects.

As part of the ITASCA team, you will engage in complex mining and geotechnical projects across North America. This senior role emphasizes practical application of geomechanics, guiding clients through challenging ground conditions and making informed decisions. You'll collaborate with industry experts and mentor juniors while contributing to various geomechanics practices.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess geotechnical data and geology for engineering evaluations
• Troubleshoot slope stability and groundwater control issues
• Develop and interpret numerical models tailored for mining




• Summarize analysis results and their implications for clients
• Foster teamwork among ITASCA engineers nationally and internationally

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field
• 8+ years in mining geomechanics or geotechnical consulting
• Robust background in excavation and rock mass behavior
• Capability to deliver high-quality, independent work
• Valid Skilled Engineer certification preferred
