Elevate your career as a Compensation Analyst with the Public Service Commission in Halifax. This term role focuses on job evaluations, pay adjustments, and market research to support Nova Scotia’s compensation programs.

The Associate Compensation Consultant reports directly to the Managing Director of Compensation and will play a key role in program delivery. With a focus on base pay, job evaluation, and data analysis, you will analyze workforce data and conduct market research to inform compensation strategies. This role allows for independent work while receiving guidance on complex issues.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct job evaluations to ensure fair compensation
• Analyze compensation data using Microsoft Excel
• Perform compensation market research and surveys




• Develop presentation materials for senior staff review
• Advise clients on compensation policies and practices

Requirements:
• University degree in related field
• Minimum three years of experience in compensation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis
• Willingness to pursue Certified Compensation Qualified designation
• Strong analytical and communication skills
