This position is within the Western Canada Power Delivery group, reporting to the Substation Leads. You will create comprehensive electrical design packages and drawings for substations, contributing your expertise in systems ranging from 5 kV to 500 kV. Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, you will not only fulfill engineering requirements but also help cultivate the next generation of engineers through mentoring.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed design packages for substations
• Draft electrical layouts, one-lines, and BOMs




• Conduct QA/QC reviews of design documentation
• Participate in site visits to record and validate designs
• Aid in project execution and budgeting efforts

Requirements:
• Approximately 8 years of experience in substation design
• Solid grasp of industry codes and standards
• Proficient in site data collection and AutoCAD/MicroStation
• Ability to conduct thorough QA/QC evaluations
• Expertise in grounding and equipment layout visualization
