As part of CIMA+'s expanding Project Delivery team, you will be responsible for providing independent quality oversight on the installation and commission of high-voltage equipment. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience with T&D; equipment, ensuring compliance with all project specifications and quality standards. Collaborate closely with engineers, clients, and suppliers to mitigate risks throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish supplier quality requirements and inspection plans
• Conduct quality system reviews and audits for critical suppliers
• Inspect equipment for compliance with project requirements
• Manage non-conformances, ensuring comprehensive documentation
• Maintain quality records for energy asset turnover and history
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in T&D; equipment quality assurance
• Knowledge of CSA, IEEE, and IEC standards
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Capacity to work independently in diverse environments
