Nishnawbe-Aski Legal Services Corporation is hiring a full-time Facilitator for the Talking Together program in Timmins, ON. This position focuses on resolving family matters through a culturally relevant approach.

In this role, you will utilize a traditional justice method to empower families, avoiding unnecessary litigation. Candidates with post-secondary qualifications in social work or similar fields are preferred, as well as those experienced with NAN and First Nation communities. Strong communication skills are essential for effective facilitation and support.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Circle processes for family resolutions
• Collaborate with participants to reach consensus
• Communicate effectively for transparent understanding




• Travel to the James Bay Area for family meetings
• Proficiently use MS Office Software in daily tasks

Requirements:
• Secondary school diploma required; post-secondary preferred
• Knowledge of legal systems is beneficial
• Experience with NAN and in First Nation settings
• Strong oral and written communication capabilities
• Ability to work with general office equipment
