Job Title: SCM Procurement - Project Buyer IV - CWR

Our client is seeking a SCM Procurement - Project Buyer IV - CWR to join their team. As a SCM Procurement - Project Buyer IV - CWR, you will be part of the Supply Chain Management department supporting project procurement activities. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Description

Manage procurement processes for complex electrical equipment and services supporting large capital expansion projects.

Coordinate early market commitments to ensure capacity availability aligned with project timelines.

Collaborate with SCM Business Partners, Category Managers, and project teams to develop sourcing strategies for high-value and long lead-time items.

Lead sourcing development, facilitate RFX processes, evaluate bids, and negotiate contracts to secure optimal terms.

Plan, report, forecast, and communicate SCM activities, ensuring project milestones are met efficiently.

Qualifications

University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in supply chain management, particularly in electrical equipment procurement for energy projects.

Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial contracts and manage supplier relationships.

Robust communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders effectively.

Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle R12 or Cloud for purchase order creation and management.
