ʔaq̓am is seeking a Principal to oversee the ʔaq̓amnik̓ Elementary School and its out-of-school programs. This senior-level position requires expertise in school administration and a commitment to community values. You will develop strategic educational programs, manage staff, and ensure a positive learning setting that fosters student success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Align curricula with assessments and instructional practices
• Encourage the use of contemporary educational research
• Integrate Community values and culture into education




• Liaise with Director of Education on strategic goals
• Mentor school staff and coordinate daily activities

Requirements:
• Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent
• Valid B.C. Teaching Certificate with background check
• Minimum 5 years in a senior education role
• Proven skills in project and budget management
• CPR and First Aid certification
