Join DDA as a Full time Community Support Worker in Vancouver and help adults thrive. This role emphasizes empowering individuals through inclusive community programs and activities.

As a vital team member, you will support participants in achieving their personal goals and enhancing their quality of life. You’ll develop and facilitate engaging programs aimed at building independence and forming genuine connections. This position focuses on creating meaningful, hands-on experiences in both community and onsite settings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create an engaging and inclusive program environment
• Assist participants with daily living activities
• Develop and monitor individualized goal plans




• Design person-centered recreational programs
• Deliver community outreach services effectively

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in relevant fields like Education or Human Services
• 1-2 years working with developmental disabilities
• Experience in developing engaging programs
• Valid driver’s license and First Aid/CPR
• Criminal and medical background checks

Support individuals in their journey to independence through meaningful engagement in this rewarding community role.
