As a Recreation Labourer, you'll operate ice maintenance equipment like Zambonis and work on ensuring the facility is impeccably clean and secure for everyone. Collaborating closely with colleagues and the public is crucial, as you'll assist in various events and programs at this community center. Certifications in arena operations and an understanding of refrigeration systems are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain ice equipment efficiently
• Ensure high standards of facility cleanliness and safety
• Assist in the setup and management of events and programs
• Follow departmental protocols and uphold building standards
• Perform various other duties as required
Requirements:
• Preferred Arena Operator 1 & 2 certifications
• Required High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's License essential
• Standard First Aid & CPR certification necessary
• WHMIS training to be provided
