This full time position requires a seasoned professional dedicated to managing our traditional territories. The successful candidate will oversee a comprehensive portfolio involving environmental programs, forestry initiatives, and community engagement. Capable leaders with a robust understanding of Indigenous governance and environmental management will thrive here.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and manage all Lands & Resources initiatives
• Supervise personnel and coordinate departmental activities
• Ensure budget compliance and manage funding agreements
• Respond to environmental consultations and development requests
• Facilitate partnerships with First Nations and external stakeholders
Requirements:
• Diploma in Environmental Science or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years in resource management or related experience
• Supervisory experience of at least 3 years
• Understanding of Indigenous rights and land use
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
