Oshawa Power is looking for a Financial Analyst to streamline accounts receivable operations. This position combines detailed reconciliation and regulatory reporting within a supportive team workplace.

As an integral member of the finance team, you will report to the Manager, Accounting and be responsible for essential tasks such as daily reconciliations and managing various financial accounts. In addition, you will assist with audits and support budgetary exercises, enhancing the overall financial management processes within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform monthly account reconciliations and analyses
• Maintain ERP systems for accurate record-keeping
• Ensure timely invoicing and billing from work orders
• Address daily accounting queries across departments
• Document and assess accounting processes

Requirements:
• Accounting/Finance Certificate or Diploma
• Relevant experience in finance or bookkeeping
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Competence in data mining and SQL
• Experience in utility accounting is an asset
