Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the Seasonal Equipment Operator is responsible for maintaining various assets including roads, fences, and signs. This position requires a robust background in road maintenance and operating heavy machinery. This role is ideal for candidates with a valid DZ driver's license and at least one year of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Remove snow and ice using specialized equipment
• Maintain highway surfaces and signage effectively
• Operate vehicles for maintenance and repair tasks
• Set up and remove traffic control as needed
• Transport crew and equipment safely to work sites
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of road maintenance experience
• Valid Ontario Class DZ driver's license
• Familiarity with traffic control and safety training
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
