As a key team member, you will implement tailored recreation therapy plans to meet the individual needs of residents. Your main responsibilities will include assessing recreational needs, developing care plans, and evaluating the effectiveness of programs. Guiding recreation therapy assistants, you will ensure high-quality service delivery while maintaining accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and provide recreation therapy activities based on resident needs
• Develop personalized plans to enhance therapeutic interventions




• Evaluate interventions and program effectiveness regularly
• Guide assistants in proper documentation and activity facilitation
• Maintain complete records of care and program delivery

Requirements:
• Degree in Recreation/Leisure Studies or Health Sciences
• Registered or registering Recreation Therapist in Ontario
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with seniors
• Membership with Therapeutic Recreation Ontario
• Successfully pass Vulnerable Sector and Criminal Records checks
