In this specialized role, you will lead programming for ages 0-18 at the Heart Home Network’s shelter. Focus on safety, healthy relationships, and developmental growth while adapting activities to meet diverse needs. You'll embrace a person-centered approach promoting trust and positive identity among participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan activities for ages 0–12 to foster emotional learning
• Support youth aged 8–18 with leadership and safety programs
• Create a secure space responding to trauma impacts
• Adapt learning for children with developmental needs
• Build positive relationships with children and caregivers
Requirements:
• Degree in Early Childhood Development or Social Work
• One year of experience in family violence sector
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Flexible availability to meet program needs
