Minwaashin Lodge is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker for a one-year contract on weekends. In this physically demanding role, you'll ensure a safe space for women and children, address crisis intervention calls, and support cultural programming. The position requires the physical ability to carry weight and navigate multiple flights of stairs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Answer crisis hotline and provide timely responses
• Ensure a safe and nurturing workplace for residents
• Assist in moving women to alternate housing when necessary




• Maintain security protocols and access to the lodge
• Document shift activities for transition

Requirements:
• Post-secondary diploma mandatory
• Experience within a women’s shelter preferred
• Familiarity with Indigenous healing practices essential
• Strong listening and empowerment skills
• First Aid/CPR certification necessary
