YWCA Hamilton is looking for a temporary Program Staff to ensure the seamless operation of children's after school programs. Candidates should possess relevant early childhood education or social work experience and a passion for fostering creative learning. The role requires actively participating in daily activities while ensuring safety and adherence to YWCA policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and ensure child safety during activities
• Plan and implement engaging programs for ages 4 to 12
• Collaborate with parents and community partners effectively
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
• Document children's progress against developmental goals
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of college education in relevant areas
• Experience in accredited child care settings advantageous
• Current Vulnerable Sector Police check required
• Ability to work outdoors for long periods
• Knowledge of feminist and anti-oppressive frameworks
