Join CI Housing as an Integrated Support Worker, providing essential support in a community living setting for adults facing serious mental health challenges. This role involves various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
In your role as an Integrated Support Worker, you will be instrumental in delivering rehabilitation services tailored to adults with mental illnesses. You'll assist in executing individualized treatment plans, and crisis intervention, and fostering client independence through life skills training. Collaboration with clinical teams and effective advocacy are central to this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement individualized rehabilitation and support plans
• Provide ongoing assistance and crisis intervention
• Collaborate effectively within inter-professional teams
• Teach life skills to clients in transitional housing
• Support clients with community integration tasks
Requirements:
• Two- or three-year college diploma in relevant fields
• Minimum of three years of experience in mental health
• Certification in First Aid/CPR and ASIST preferred
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Satisfactory criminal reference check required
