Make a difference as a Life Skills Coach in our group home. Provide tailored support to clients while implementing life skills workshops to promote their independence and well-being.
This in office position demands a Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience. Your role involves assessing client needs, performing administrative tasks, and collaborating with families and social service agencies. Excellent communication and excellent judgement skills will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare reports and case histories for client assessments
• Implement behaviour management and skills workshops
• Supervise clients and their activities at the residence
• Liaise with families and external service providers
• Help resolve conflict situations as they arise
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of experience
• Developmental services worker training and certificates required
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and lift heavy objects
