Join Roundtable Educational Society as the Executive Director in Vancouver, BC, and champion anti-oppressive practices. This full time position demands visionary leadership to manage emerging programs and operational strategies.
As the first Executive Director, you will help guide RES through a critical phase of its development. With a focus on community accountability, you'll manage operations and resource allocation while fostering relationships with funders and partners. Your strategic insight will be pivotal as the organization shifts towards a governance-focused board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Direct day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives
• Maintain trust-based partnerships in the community
• Oversee launch of key programs such as the Micro-Grant
• Manage financial compliance and grant reporting
• Lead the hiring and management of program staff
Requirements:
• 3+ years of relevant leadership experience
• Familiarity with community organizing and equity work
• Strong judgment in managing resources and risks
• Experience with grant writing and funder engagement
• Passion for promoting JEDI principles
