Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Excavator Operator to join our energetic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating excavators and other heavy equipment to efficiently execute excavation, grading, and site preparation tasks. Your expertise will help ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality. Responsibilities
Operate excavators safely and efficiently across various construction sites, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project specifications
Perform site excavation, trenching, grading, and material handling with precision using excavators and compatible heavy machinery
Assist with the operation of additional equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving machinery as needed
Conduct routine inspections of equipment including Caterpillar excavators and other heavy machinery; perform basic maintenance and report any issues promptly
Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks such as horizontal drilling, paving, and site leveling for seamless project progression




Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others
Maintain detailed records of work performed, equipment usage, and safety checks throughout each shift

Skills
Proven experience operating excavators in a construction setting; familiarity with Caterpillar equipment is highly desirable
Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform routine maintenance on heavy machinery
Ability to operate additional construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and paving machines confidently
Valid driver’s license
Experience with construction site safety standards and best practices for heavy equipment operation
Basic understanding of grading operations and paving processes to support diverse project needs

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
