Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions and medical terminology
Prepare and package prescriptions, ensuring proper labeling and documentation
Manage medication inventory levels, restocking supplies and verifying stock accuracy
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication instructions, and supporting health education efforts
Maintain exact records of medication transactions, including inbound and outbound logs




Support pharmacy operations by organizing shelves, checking expiration dates, and ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions or medication orders when necessary

Experience
Prior experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly preferred
Experience working as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is advantageous
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to medications and patient care
Proven ability to handle medication administration processes with accuracy and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, healthcare providers, and team members
Demonstrated commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and quality service
