JM Wellness Services is seeking a creative, compassionate, and experienced Art Therapist to join our team and provide individualized art therapy services to children and teenagers.

Responsibilities:
Provide individualized art therapy sessions to children and teenagers based on their individual needs and goals.
Develop engaging, age-appropriate, and individualized art-based activities.
Use creative expression to support communication, emotional expression, social skills, self-regulation, and overall development.
Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA), collaborating on client goals, treatment planning, and progress.
Communicate regularly with the RBA regarding client progress, observations, and recommendations.
Collaborate with caregivers and other members of the client’s multidisciplinary team.




Maintain accurate and timely session documentation and progress notes.
Adapt activities and approaches to meet each client’s developmental and individual needs.

Qualifications:
Education and training in Art Therapy or a related field.
Experience working with children and teenagers.
Experience working with children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is considered an asset.
Solid communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Qualified registration/certification, where applicable.
Vulnerable Sector Check required.

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
