Overview
We are seeking a friendly and skilled Cashier/Sales associate to join our retail team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and promoting our products. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are considered valuable assets. Duties
Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases in a courteous manner
Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and credit transactions
Conduct product demonstrations and provide detailed information about merchandise
Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance sales prospects
Maintain organized merchandising displays to attract customer attention
Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and clarity
Ensure checkout areas are clean, organized, and welcoming




Assist with store opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash registers
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction

Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
Strong communication skills in English; bilingual abilities such as Spanish or other languages are a plus
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math skills necessary for transaction accuracy
Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos is advantageous
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Demonstrated ability to upsell products and engage customers proactively
Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or evenings may be preferred depending on store needs
