Ocean Ceramics Dental Lab is seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Financial Controller to lead our finance department. In this vital role, you will oversee all financial operations, ensure accurate accounting practices, and support strategic financial planning. Your expertise will help drive the company's financial health and growth, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.

Duties
Manage and oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, month/year-end reporting and general ledger activities.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, KPI reports and forecasts to support business decision-making.
Ensure accurate tax fillings, payroll remittances, GST/PST compliance and regulatory reporting
Financial analysis of product and production cost and lab operations as well as ERP/accounting system management and reporting accuracy
Grant, subsidy and SR&ED; reporting support
Maintain and optimize accounting software systems such as QuickBooks or Sage (experience in QuickBooks is preferred)
Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and ensure timely processing of payments and collections.




Develop internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations while creating cost-productive initiatives.

Qualifications
CPA, CMA or CGA designation preferred
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
Proven experience in accounting and financial management within a manufacturing or inventory-based industry considered an asset
Extensive knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
Advanced Excel, Google Sheets and ERP/accounting software experience
Skilled in budgeting, financial analysis, and preparing detailed reports for management review.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Must provide a Criminal Record Check and will need to perform an aptitude check.

Compensation: Salary negotiable based on experience.
