Reporting to the Retail Manager, Cowbell Brewing Co., the Retail Associate is responsible for providing an exceptional experience to all guests of the Cowbell General Store. The Retail Associate will ensure the Cowbell General Store is clean, orderly, and visually appealing at all
times.
Roles and Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the Retail Associate include, but are not limited to the following:
Provide excellent customer service to all guests of the Cowbell General Store
Welcoming guests to the Cowbell General Store by actively seeking them out and asking open-ended questions in order to determine their needs
Demonstrate knowledge of all products and the Cowbell brand by describing advantages and features of products
Maintain stock levels and visual presentation of merchandise
Process purchases, returns, and exchanges
Opening and Closing of the Cowbell General Store: managing cash flow, additional payment methods and inventory count
Stock beer fridge and put away orders
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements
Smart Serve Certification or ability to acquire Smart Serve Certification before commencing employment;
Previous experience working in a customer service setting
Ability to build rapport with guests by creating an informative and pleasant guest experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Solid organizational and time management skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience working with computers and/or tablets
Demonstrated experience handling cash
Experience working with a POS system (preferred)
Working Conditions
Some Heavy lifting is required
Bending and kneeling
Standing for extended periods of time and walking
Use of store ladder to retrieve stock
Potential to work outside of normal business hours
Potential to work on a computer for long periods of time
