We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Technician with 2-4th year specializing in off-road machinery to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment used in construction, agriculture, and industrial settings. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, familiarity with off-road equipment such as Skid Steer, Track Loader, and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic setting. The position offers an prospect to work with diverse machinery and contribute to the protected and reliable operation of our customer's fleets.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on off-road heavy equipment including Compact Track Loaders and Skid Steers
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using schematics and diagnostic tools.
Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to disassemble, repair, and reassemble machinery
Operate equipment for testing or troubleshooting purposes when necessary
Follow safety protocols during all maintenance activities to ensure a safe work setting
Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs performed
Skills
Strong knowledge of compact equipment, and other industrial or farm machinery
Skilled in electrical troubleshooting, schematics reading, and repair techniques
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, HVAC systems related to heavy/compact equipment maintenance
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment when necessary
Mechanical knowledge of hydraulic systems, engines, transmissions, and electrical components
This position requires a dedicated professional with a passion for maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence in heavy/compact equipment maintenance.
Pay: $43.00-$50.00 per hour
