SUMU is a modern Japanese dining destination in the heart of Downtown Vancouver, featuring premium sushi, yakitori, Japanese small plates, signature nabe, specialty beverages, and an interactive dining experience.

We are looking for friendly, organized, and hospitality-driven Hosts to be the first point of contact for our guests.

Responsibilities
Welcome and greet guests in a warm and skilled manner
Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating arrangements
Coordinate table availability with Servers and the FOH team
Answer guest questions and assist with general inquiries
Manage guest flow during busy service periods
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance area
Help create a positive guest experience from arrival to departure

Qualifications
Friendly, qualified, and outgoing personality




Strong communication and organizational skills
Comfortable interacting with guests
Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Reliable and punctual
Previous restaurant or customer service experience is an asset but not required
