Responsibilities
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
Manage guest waitlists and communicate wait times effectively
Handle guest inquiries with professionalism via phone and in person
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station
Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service
Process guest payments using POS systems such as Micros POS accurately
Assist with special guest requests and accommodate seating preferences when possible
Uphold hospitality standards to ensure an enjoyable dining experience for all guests
Skills
Excellent guest services and customer service skills with a friendly demeanor
Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interaction
Experience with serving, food service, or restaurant operations preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced workplace
